Fragments in Time

The work I have created under this theme are linocut prints which I have developed using a variety of ideas, references and my photographs from my late father’s small archive of photographs as well as my own. The prints created are unique monoprints produced solely by hand. I never use tracing paper as I prefer to draw freehand to get what I call a subliminal fluidity into the work. I do not use a press and apply the ink in a combination of brush and roller depending on the effect I am looking for so there will always be slight variations in the ink on each version of a print.

Even though the work here contains 1/1 monoprints, there is the opportunity to create versions that are different via commission. The templates are not altered, but the outcome is! As always my work is archival quality.
