In the Studio
Glimpses of my two 100x100cm and 60x80cm oil paintings as works in progress towards an exciting project on 2027 ....6 March 2026. Archival, ink on A4 paper. I have been experimenting with my glass nib dip pen. I used a not very absorbent paper and I love the way the ink has pooled. It is a bit like a stained glass.27 May 2026. A gentle musing to support my next big oil painting drawn on A4, slightly cropped. A musing perhaps, however, I always regard everything I do as the finished article; each line, brush stroke etc is equal in value. Just my opinion of course!3 June 2026: From the studio today. There was a moment of anxiety which has thankfully passed when I thought I had ruined my vision! This will be another 100x100cm oil on canvas in due course.
